I am SO excited about Christmas this year! Gray understands who Santa is and is already decorating the house. We are introducing an advent calendar for the first time. Instead of candy, we are going to do a Christmas activity each day.
When I decided to start a blog, I knew I would write about our life, warts and all. Let me tell you, the first three months after the twins were born were not our best. We were beyond exhausted and stretched way too thin. Hubs took off for the first two weeks and then went back to work full-time.
I found some awesome chalk paint at Walmart on clearance. It came with paint brushes and foam rollers and Gray LOVED it. I went to go buy more and they were sold out. I decided to make chalk paint with him and it wasn’t as successful.
October is one of my favorite months. The weather in Texas is finally bearable. We celebrate our anniversary. AND there is Halloween.
All the things G can do at 2.
When we found out we were having twins, I read everything I could get my hands to prepare (side note: you CAN’T prepare for those first 3 months, you just have to get through them). I read tons of articles, Pinterest posts, and books to figure out what we needed.
I cannot believe our twin girls are five-months-old already! It feels like we are finally getting in our groove. Here’s what Sadie and Scarlett are up to:
Sadie – You are starting to roll over more (only belly to back) and love to be in your jumper and exersaucer.
Gray goes to school all day, and I work so we don’t have as much time together as I would like. I pick him up at 3:30 and when we get home we have about an hour together that is just the two of us. I try to do something new and fun at least once a week and I will be sharing it here.
Troubleshooting Toddlers posts will walk you through some toddler problems we have had in our house. I will tell you how we solved the problem and what worked for our family. I get ideas from many different methods and schools of thought.
