We hope your Valentine’s Day is filled with cuddles, parties, sugar and lots of LOVE!
20. Go see Santa! This was fantastic! We made a reservation to see Santa and were able to see him without waiting at all. Gray walked up to him, handed him his list, went over it and then happily took pictures. The girls didn’t cry and we were able to get this great picture of all of us:
Crafts, Christmas lists, shopping, and Rudolph. It was a pretty great week!
14. Go to Michael’s and pick out a Christmas craft. Gray picked out a huge Christmas mansion to build.
We had the BEST Christmas this year! Check it out!
We had a busy 2015! Gray turned two and started preschool. The twins arrived. James and I tried to keep up with all of it! We managed to squeeze in some great adventures (and one vacation).
We took a few days off to spend time with our amazing loved ones.
This week was awesome! We got caught up on some of our activities from last week, and fit in a lot of Christmas fun.
5. Make a gingerbread train. Like I wrote about last week, this thing was a disaster to construct. It was pretty hard to decorate too.
Activity: Salt dough ornaments.
Age of participants: Gray, 2 years 7 months
How we picked it: Gray picked making ornaments while looking at ideas on Pinterest.
Cost: This was (kind of) free. We already had all of the ingredients on hand.
Here’s what we did:
Preheat oven to 250.
Womp womp. We had a rough first week with the advent calendar, but still managed to have some Christmas fun!
Read Elf on the Shelf. This was okay. He named the elf Boobah. We read the story, and he enjoyed it. He also likes finding the elf in the morning, but he isn’t SUPER into it.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! On Thanksgiving eve, one of my best friends Liam came into town. We took Gray to see The Good Dinosaur and he had a blast! The next day we went to Momo and Poppa’s house for a meal with the whole family. I contributed 2 side dishes to the feast.
